I love that it is a lot lighter than other cast iron pans. It is pricey but in the ball park for other good quality pans that have a smoother finish inside.

This is the pan to buy if you wish Griswold still made pans. It’s cast lightweight and machined smooth just like they used to make them. They even smooth down the pour spouts.

This skillet has proven it’s worth repeatedly over the year I’ve had it. I got one of the earlier ones, with the mill grooves in it. Still smoother than most modern skillets, but much lighter. It heats really quickly, which is nice. Not really a fan of the handle, though. Too short, and it gets really hot.

I’ve always enjoyed cooking with cast iron, but my wife struggles to pick up some of our heavy pans. I got this in the hopes that the weight would work better for her and boy was I right! Since getting this we’ve cooked almost all of our meals in it. Overall it’s got a really good feel to it and the logo on the bottom of the pan adds a neat aesthetic. I’m actually picking up another for a wedding present!
