These sockets just saved me from having to cut off my leaf spring shackle! The shackle had a 17mm nut that I had rounded pretty severely. I hammered on the 17mm rocket socket and it went all the way down but I just rounded the nut a little more when using my breaker bar. At a loss, I hammered the 16mm equivalent socket on but it only went about half way onto the nut. This time, I tried my impact wrench and on the first few strikes the socket spun further onto the nut! I kept on with the impact and finally the nut broke loose and came off!Things to note:- Mine came with the blue plastic case.- The little punch out didn’t work for me. I ended up clamping the nut into a vice and then using my impact in the forward direction to break the socket free from the nut.- Only complaint is that I missed the prime day sale price.- I honestly hope I never need these again but I’ll be keeping them around.
