This set is made in the USA. Not all tools by this brand are; avoid the Code Red variations as they are made in China.

    Quality American made set

These are quality screwdrivers, there isn’t much else to say about them. I have made it a priority to always look for American made tools before considering tools from China. Buying cheaply made tools is a false economy. Acme delivered quickly, with more protective packaging than a screwdriver set would ever need. Overall an A+ experience.

    great

This is really one of my favorite screwdriver sets for greasy work. They clean up easily and have a nice durable finish. I have high standards when it comes to tools and I’m comparing this to Snap-On and Wera stuff that I already own. I tend to reach for these first for most tasks. I also have the precision set and picks to match.

Do it right the first time.

I made the mistake of trying to buy a cheaper set made in the same place as apparently more than 90% of everything is nowadays. Over the past few years the group, rhymes with “rafts-men”, exported their production and labor and as a result I bought a set of materials that was corroding inside the packaging (on arrival) within just a couple years of leaving the facility.Immediately upon receiving these I knew I was not going to encounter the same problem. I wanted something with an Acetate handle as it is a little known fact that you can apply some extra torque to them with the use of a wrench, so long as your careful about it. These are sturdy. They look tough. More importantly, they feel it. I don’t see myself needing to purchase another set anytime soon.Do yourself a favor and purchase from a brand that deserves your contribution. Be sure to do your research as well. Not everything made by Channellock is domestic, so discover where your product is coming from and if that meets part of your filtering criteria. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I refuse to partake in a system where something I depend on is found acceptable to rot inside the packing for the sake of making a few extra dollars at MY expense.
