    Great set!

I’ve been looking around to find something that could help me with removing a pair of bolts that were holding my front brakes in place for my scooter. I tried the hex bolt key which eventually started to round out the opening. I then tried my vice grip pliers on them and those started rounding off the outer portion of the bolt head. I spent 20 to 30 minutes during that time to no avail. I was getting very frustrated so I started looking online to see what would work. I watched some videos dealing with my issue and most of them used a bolt and nut extractor to help them with the problem so I decided to give that a try. I looked at all the various brands available until I came to the Rocket Socket brand. Not many comments but the ones available gave nice reviews so I went ahead and purchased a set. When it arrived I opened the package to give it a look. I then closed it back up and let it sit for almost a week before I attempted to use it. I am super sorry I waited so long to use it. I took out the size needed, I then gently tapped it in with a hammer, and then attached my ratchet wrench. I took a deep breath and looked at the wrench thinking that I was going to get same outcome as the other attempts. As soon as I started turning the wrench the bolts started to turn with ease and had both bolts off in less than two minutes. I was so amazed and extremely happy with the result.

    Works perfectly!

Oh my goodness am I glad I found Rocketsocket. I have a light post in front of my house that is on a photocell so it will go on and off at dark. The photocell is close to the ground and isn’t working. The bolt holding the cover is completely rusted and needed to be replaced. Impossible to get the bolt turned to take it out. I tried a bolt extractor which requires I drill into the bolt which did not work. Needless to say, ridiculously frustrating and my wife just keeps telling me to either fix it or have someone come over who knows how. I searched Amazon and bought this set. Came the next day!!! I had the bolt off within minutes. The teeth in these sockets grab on super tight!!!! Turns out there were other jobs I had put off for too long. I couldn’t get a tire off an older bike to fix a flat. Same thing, bolt was stripped. I found the right size in the Rocketsocket set and off it came, fast! I have focused on buying as many made in America products as well, so I feel great that this is made in America. Thanks. I’ll definitely recommend to friends and family, that way they can start to do these things themselves.

    Worked like a charm

We had 4 very stubborn front caliper bracket bolt on a 2004 Ford Escape. These sockets worked like a charm got the first two off no problem. Went to the drivers side and had a hard time getting the socket to fit on the top bolt. I’m thinking the bolt was to corroded. Couldn’t get the socket to fit on right. When we did though I thought we were going to break the breaker bar. The socket never slipped or cracked. Two 270+ pound guys cranking on the breaker bar no problem for this socket. I’m very impressed. I bought another China made set of these sockets just in case. Don’t think I’ll ever use them. Great job Rocket Socket.

Takes the abuse, and keeps going!

Saw this on ProjectFarm’s YouTube channel and thought it was worth a shot. It worked better than imagined, and saved me a bunch of time with these exhaust bolts. 3 were stuck in the heads, 1 nut rounded, and 12 studs broke. Gave 3 of the sockets a torture test to say the least. 4’ breaker bar, 1/2” Milwaukee fuel high torque impact, and some violent swings with a 3lb sledge. I was shocked when it just kept working, and once it bites it doesn’t let go until the bolt breaks or becomes free. 8 studs broke 3-4 times before they’d unthread, and each time this tool NEVER slipped. Well worth the money, and the only slightest concern is the smallest amount of wear in one of the sockets. However I don’t know if I can blame the tool as it took a full 30 seconds of Milwaukee fury, then the 4’ breaker bar with a jack handle extender. It still works perfectly and Its MADE IN THE USA!

    ROCKETSOCKET – ROCKS

These rocketsockets rock! I have been trying to remove a stripped nut on the rear wiper of my Pathfinder off and on for about two weeks. I have tried to remove this nut by using vise grips and hammering on smaller sockets. The 11mm rocketsocket using my impact driver remove the nut on the 1st try.
