I bought this toolkit based on a recommendation from a coworker. We all have one and use them for working on server chassis, antennas, and computers.Pros:1. The bits can be used with the extension or directly in the screwdriver handle which is awesome for getting into tight spaces.2. Every bit is also knurled on the end so it can be turned with your fingers easily.3. The ratchet is small enough to fit easily into small spaces and doesn’t require much space to “click” so you can unscrew/bolt items with very little turning room and with great leverage.4. The wide assortment of well constructed bits means that almost anything I need is close at hand.5. Made in the USA!Cons:1. The bits aren’t very secure in the case, so if you drop it they’re going everywhere.2. The ratchet only rotates in one direction and you change from “in” to “out” by flipping it over. It is silver on both sides and the engraving is difficult to read. I had to paint mine black on one side so I know which direction it’s facing without having to hold it in bright light.

I work for a major defense company and after I borrowed this tool set from one of the guys in the shop to remove some difficult to access screws, I had to have my own. The small ratchet handle makes it possible to get to screws in impossibly tight locations. The bits hold up very well. Each of the bits have a detent ball in them that provide enough friction to hold the bit securely in the ratchet or holders, but is still easy enough to remove by hand. The stamped “ears” on the bits keeps the bits from pushing “through” the ratchet. The knurling on the ends of the bits allow you to quickly spin the bit. It is the “little things” that often separate so-so tools from truly great ones.

At the range, I needed to secure a fastener. A buddy let me borrow a mini version of the Chapman Master Kit. I was pretty impressed with how well and compact the kit appeared. I looked up the company and found only great things. I immediately tacked the Chapman Master Kit onto one of my Amazon orders and I am so pleased that I did. The kit is now a permanent fixture at my reloading and firearms bench. The screw bits are outstanding and are so precise, I’m embarrassed that I ever used an inferior kit on any of my screws thus marring them occasionally. This is money well spent. The kit arrived quick, neat and orderly. All of the components had a light film of oil for corrosion resistance. All fit, finish and machining are high quality. I’ll be following up to order a smaller kit for my range bag next. Highly recommend and I think you’ll like this purchase.

Where to start… well, the design is great with one locking motion, it is tough and can withstand a decent amount of torque, and the small size is great for places where it is tight. The ratchet and the driver handle give a great feel for the amount of torque. Everything is made quality and its American made! The only knock I have is the bits are not the real sizes, but labeled as numbers. I also had a hard time finding a dropped bit in a machine due to them being small and black so I took two neon paint pens and painted to backs of the Hex bits one color for standard, and one for metric. This took care of that. Overall if you ever pick up an Allen wrench or ball driver you NEED this kit, it has helped me out so much with my job, I hardly use any other tool. I love this product.
