    Great purchase

Fits perfectly in my workspace. Relatively easy to assemble, seems quite sturdy. Butcher block top looks great.

Good workbench, feels unstable at times

The wood is thick and this is a really big workbench. It is tall, which is great. However, the metal is thin and at times the table feels unstable. This could have been remedied by making the metal thicker. It seems that if you wanted to you could add a piece of metal to stabilize it.

    Pretty sturdy

It is pretty sturdy despite the assembly seeming like there’s a whole front section that’s “missing”. Of course that’s by design so you can use the bench with a chair. I’ve done two transmission jobs, head work, bolted a vise to it and really cranked on it, and hammered several things on it, and it’s held up fine. Don’t expect this to replace a heavy metal table, but for a DIYer, it’s a fair purchase.
