Comfortable to use, high quality, well thought out tool
What can I say, these are pretty much the ultimate adjustable locking pliers. For the money nothing else even comes close. Built to last 2 or 3 generations easily.

Beautiful American made and better than the original
The attention to detail is incredible on the new Eagle Grip locking pliers. All my others are USA made Vice-Grip and I relegated other brands (Tekton, Irwin) to welding clamp duty. None compared to the original. The new Eagle Grip pliers are better in all ways I can look at including fit and finish, jaw precision, rivets, brazing, threaded portion at the rear of the handle is tremendously improved! And things like the stamping and edges are better. The action spring is improved with a tapered winding.I did not need these pliers, I wanted to support Malco’s efforts to re-establish USA manufacturing and the goal of making their product the best and a product the workers at this plant can be super proud of. I make my living with tools, always have and I not only support high quality domestic manufacturing I contribute to it with our own products. People who care about these attributes should support such companies. I plan to buy more, as gifts or when ever I need one.

USA made quality tool
I’ve been through made vice grips and this is a must buy. If your hell bent on USA made tools like I am don’t hesitate. Quality is spot on!

Comfortable to use, high quality, well thought out tool

Contrary to what a certain mfr claims, the real “original” Vise-Grips were made by Petersen Mfg in the USA. If you’re old enough to remember those, you’ll be thinking déjà vu when you see these – – and for good reason. They’re made in the original Petersen factory in DeWitt, Nebraska.So far I’ve purchased the 7″ curved, 10″ curved, and 7″ straight jaw. All are superb.The only downside (and it’s minor) is that while the “old-school” pliers had a sandblasted finish, these are polished which can be challenging to hold onto if your hands are oily. And while not inexpensive, they’re nonetheless a good value considering their exceptional quality.
