   Good Quality

   Hammer is solid-piece construction and well balanced. Adbsorbs shock very well. I found it just the right weight for driving steel fence posts. Wish the head area was bigger though. Be aware the product has a short handle, unlike the one depicted in the product photo. A bit expensive.

   bam!

   Like my other Eastwing, quality build, sure to last forever. The 3# sold at hd felt to heavy to keep in the tool bag which I carry alot. This hammer packs a big wallup in a little package! Plus, all steel construction means never worrying about the head falling off. The handle material is real nice. Best lump/drilling hammer out there by far.

   Excellent hammer

   Estwing hammers are great! This one is the perfect size for many hammering needs that call for more than a regular hammer but not as much as a breaking-rocks kind of sledge. Maxwell would approve.

   Indispensable

   This hammer is the perfect weight to use with cold chisels, pry-bars as part of demolition, and as a lighter and more precise sledgehammer. It’s a very solid tool that is just heavy enough to do major (or pinpoint, with a chisel) damage that is nowhere near as tiring (or sloppy) as a sledgehammer.It is a perfect compromise between the weight/functionality of a standard hammer and a full sledgehammer.
